Thanks for posting this blog Jo , nice job. Let's all get behind interim Superintendent John Foley and start this year with a positive attitude . Mrr. Foleys' first three appointments of Crystal Ellis , Jan Kilbride and Valerie Napierski are excellent choices and will surely gain some supporters back who felt left out and marginalized by the last group . The Parents ,Teachers , Principals and Students deserve a lot of credit for all their efforts that have increased test scores and I'm sure Mr. Foley is interested in sharing that credit and continuing to move us ALL forward. The previous Superintendent had some great ideas but always seemed as if he wanted all the good news for his resume and was willing to share the less than good news with the teachers . We have to place a levy on the ballot because they need a raise etc.
Hello Anon! I agree that Mr. Foley's appoinments were very good choices, and I hope that the majority of TPS parents are in agreement. I chuckled about what you said about the former Superintendents resume, because that's how it felt to myself also, but he did have some good ideas and hopefully we can expand on some of them. I also agree with the levy, it's something that no one likes to hear about, but this time it is something that is a necessity! Thanks for reading!
